Jung’s Famous Jerky

Website analytics

This page describes the limited analytics used on our public homepage to understand site performance and find technical errors.

What we collect

When production analytics is active, PostHog receives homepage page views, Core Web Vitals measurements, and unhandled browser errors, along with related technical context. URLs are reduced to route paths; error details pass through a sanitizer that redacts email-shaped text and sensitive field values. IP anonymization is enabled in PostHog. Data is processed in the US and retained for up to one year under our current plan.

What we leave out

These public-site analytics events do not include newsletter email addresses, form values, tasting survey responses, staff activity, or staff notes. The tasting survey is separate; this notice covers analytics on the public website only.

Session replay, automatic interaction capture, and console messages are disabled.

Browser storage

The analytics SDK is configured for in-memory persistence. It does not save PostHog identifiers in cookies or local browser storage.
